Last Saturday, Emma and her brother Jack went to the zoo with their parents.
They woke up early and packed sandwiches and water.
At 10 a.m., they arrived at the zoo. First, they looked at the monkeys. The monkeys jumped and played in the trees.
Then they saw the lions. The lions rested under a tree because it was hot.
After that, they visited the penguins. Emma liked them a lot because they swam quickly and made funny sounds.
At 1 p.m., the family sat on a bench and ate lunch. In the afternoon, they bought ice cream and took photos.
It was a fun day at the zoo!
